Be the Reason a Team Takes the Court: Sponsor a Team for Play4Peace Community Day!
At Play4Peace, we believe in the power of play to build bridges, heal divides, and unite communities. On Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, our annual Community Day 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament returns to Harambee Park, and we’re inviting YOU to be part of the impact.
This isn't just a game — it's a movement. Young athletes from across Boston and Massachusetts will take the court alongside law enforcement officers, working together as one team, building trust, breaking stereotypes, and creating memories that last far beyond the final buzzer.

What Does It Mean to Sponsor a Team?
For just $100, you can sponsor a youth team to compete in the tournament. Your sponsorship covers:
Team uniforms (custom Play4Peace shirts)
Gift bags with school supplies, snacks, and essentials
Free meals for each player
Equipment and tournament costs
A safe, empowering experience guided by community leaders and mentors
Each team is made up of 2 to 4 youth players, plus one law enforcement officer who plays alongside them. This unique model allows youth to see police officers not just as authority figures, but as teammates and allies.
