His Story

Jeffrey is the founder of The Play4Peace Initiative, an innovative organization dedicated to restoring peace in communities. Together, with his fellow alumni from the Lincoln-Sudbury High School, Jeff started the Play4Peace events after the murder of George Floyd in 2020. As a former METCO student, Jeff and his friends from Lincoln-Sudbury formed friendships that transcended zip codes and skin color to come together and pursue social justice-based initiatives at the community level.

As a former student-athlete in varsity football and basketball, Jeffrey's commitment extended beyond the playing field. Armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Communications from Northeastern University, he combined his love for sports with a dedication to education.

After completing his degree, Jeffrey became a teacher, mentor, and coach in the Boston Public Schools as a Physical Education & Health teacher. His influence further resonated as the head high school football coach for John D. O’Bryant School, leaving an indelible mark on aspiring young athletes.

Recognizing the importance of academic success for student-athletes, Jeffrey collaborated with the National Football Foundation. Together, they provided academic coaches and study hall programs, supporting the holistic development of student athletes. In 2004, Jeffrey's coaching prowess was acknowledged with the prestigious Boston Globe Football Coach of the Year award, underscoring his commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

Jeffrey's passion for community development took root with the founding of Student Athletes Rising, a non-profit organization embodying the mantra "Student first; athlete second." Specializing in guiding young student-athletes to elite secondary private schools, the organization paved the way for college recruitment.

Building on the success of Student Athletes Rising, Jeffrey established The Play4Peace Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to uniting communities and empowering youth. Jeff’s  commitment to financial literacy, education, and the holistic development of young athletes is exemplified through The Play4Peace Initiative. By bringing communities together, he continues to inspire the next generation of leaders, fostering a world where the power of play transcends boundaries.

Jeff is an avid sports fans and a loyal Patriots follower. When not in the office, you will find Jeff with his family, at the gym, or at P4P events.
